Why did you decided to be a Governor?
To help the school be the best it can be.
Why at St Luke's CE?
My daughters – Amelia and Emma attend the school
Have you been or are you a governor anywhere else? (Do you have links with any other schools?)
I do assemblies in Willow Tree Primary School and some lessons there.
What is the most rewarding thing about being a governor?
Seeing the amazing achievements of the children. I love seeing the progress they make and how the staff are so generous and caring
What have you learnt from being a governor you didn't know before?
How hard the staff work and all that goes on in school.
What has been the most challenging thing you've being involved with?
Increasing pupil numbers
What's the most important thing about education/school to you?
That children learn how to care for each other, understand their differences and communicate in a loving way
What do/did you do as a career?
Youth and Childrrens worker
What do you do with your spare time?
Go to the gym, play sports, run, spend time with my family

Good, I enjoyed playing with friends and learning

Maths and P.E. as I was good at both

Miss Clegg she was kind

Red – Man United!
Mr Lane confirmed that he has read the Department for Education "Keeping children Safe in Education - Part 1:Information for all school and college staff" (September 2016), and that he will use this information to guide him in his actions on behalf of the children of our school [October 2017].
Mr Lane attended 'The Role of the Governing Board in Safeguarding Course' held at school by the Local Authority on 6th November 2017.
