Condover Hall 2018

Day 1

14:05pm -  Year 5 have arrived safely at Condover Hall in Shropshire, near Shrewsbury.

15:35pm - We’ve had our safety briefing, welcome tour and now are getting ready to do our first afternoon activity. Climbing, Gladiator Wall or Survival Challenge.

Condover Hall is beautiful. The weather is clear but cool, perfect for our adventures. We’ve had our first room inspection, we are going to have to work as a team to keep these rooms tidy.

Evening - Our first evening was marked with our welcome Camp Fire. And what a wonderful camp fire it was. We had songs, gymnastics, jokes and riddles. The children took part and showed real enthusiasm for every school trip highlight.

The children eat well at dinner and some dinner plates even had some colour! Then off to bed, well for some of us.

The excitement of the first day was too much for some and they did not want it to end...literally. Eventually a few hours sleep was had by most children before a fun packed day tomorrow. See you tomorrow!

Day 2

Day 2 has been fun filled and action packed. We’ve only just had lunch but we’ve already climbed a tower, mastered the Gladiator Wall, orienteered around Condover Hall and launched rockets into space.

We challenged 2 groups of children to complete the tire challenge. Move the 5 tires to another post without placing a large tire on top of a smaller tire...harder than it sounds. This challenge requires ‘Team Work’ so, no better than doing Boys V Girls...

Awards we have recieved so far.
