Why did you decided to be a Governor?
To be part of and help make a difference to children's education
Why at St Luke's CE?
I belong to Emmanuel L.E.P. Church and have joint methodist and C.of.E membership. Emmanuel is the district church of St Luke's Parish Church

Yes – Christ Church Primary in Eccles
What is the most rewarding thing about being a governor?
Seeing the progress of the school and pupils and experiencing the schools ethos.
What have you learnt from being a governor you didn't know before?
That my input is valued
What has been the most challenging thing you've being involved with?
Looking into the essential qualities, qualifications and evidence required for the various teacher grades.
What's the most important thing about education/school to you?
That the pupils and staff are happy and comfortable in the school and are suitably challenged.
What do/did you do as a career?
Lecturer/ Practitioner in Podiatry at Salford University
What do you do with your spare time?
Church and Community volunteer
What was your time at School like? What did you most enjoy/find hard?
Totally happy and suitably challenged. Enjoyed the sciences, challenged by Domestic science and P.E.

English, Loved reading and writing essays

They taught me in my final year at Primary school

Green – Its a restful colour.
