Glow Team visit to St. John's C.E. Ethos Day

On Wednesday 15th November 2017 6 children from our GLOW Team were selected to represent our school as part of St John's CE Ethos Day.  We were one of only 4 other Primary Schools to be asked to take part in this special event.

It was fabulous day filled with fun and fellowship where we worked with the children from other schools thinking about Christian Values.  The pupils had fun listening to an inspiring poet Ian Bland and even took part in his wonderful workshops.

There were also drama workshops focusing on our key values and what makes us happy.

We even got a keepsake treasure box to personalise and take home.  We had to think of all the things that were important to each of us and draw them inside.

It was a truly fabulous day that I am sure the lucky children will never forget, especially meeting the Therapy Dog "Hero" and taking it for a walk at playtime!

Formby Beach

Wednesday 21st June 2017

A group of children from The Butterfly Room spent the day at Formby Beach.

They had lots of fun:

wave jumping

paddling in the sea

kite flying

sandcastle building

playing beach football

ice cream tasting.

A BIG Thank you to Ms. Wigzell for organising and planning the activities, a fabulous day had by all.
